Etiquette is the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group.
Much of today's formal etiquette originated in the French Royal Court during the 1600's. King Louis XIV did not appreciate people walking on his lawn and through his garden during his parties; therefore, he had signs or tickets posted everywhere to guide his guests as to where to walk and how to conduct themselves at his functions. These signs and tickets were the beginning of Etiquette. Etiquette is a French word meaning Ticket. One can think of Etiquette as their Ticket to success.

SAVVY School of Etiquette, is the premier source for etiquette training and social emotional learning in the Midwest, based in Southeastern Wisconsin. We believe that etiquette includes and goes beyond knowing how to shake a person's hand appropriately or the ability to identify which silverware to use when dining. It also helps individuals build communication skills, strengthen social skills, and involves an attitude of respect and concern toward others to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued.
Social emotional learning (SEL) is a fundamental part of education and human development. It is the process through which children, teens, and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.
SAVVY offers group and individual training for children, teens, and adults.
